About

Castellum is a classic real-time strategy game with feudal economy, castle base building, and tactical warfare elements. Set in the High Middle Ages, around 1150–1250, the battlefield is dominated by feuds between neighbouring castle lords, who send their warbands into battle with a variety of weapons and tactics. Dominate through cultural influence, economic might, or simply besiege your rivals and force their surrender. Use unit strengths, terrain elevation, formations, and exhaustion to break your enemies’ morale. But be mindful of Church law and diplomacy! In matches lasting roughly 20 to 60 minutes with up to 4 players, will your banner be the one left flying over the keep?
